A punta de créditos bancarios, los hermanos Julián y Eduardo Martínez lograron montar su propia empresa dedicada a la fabricación de cerveza artesanal.
Se trata del Grupo Brumar, del cual también hacen parte el padre y la madre de estos dos jóvenes ingenieros químicos de la Universidad Nacional, de 21 y 24 años respectivamente, que hace más de 10 meses vienen desarrollando fórmulas para producir diferentes tipos de cerveza.
"Nosotros producimos una cerveza exclusiva, no para emborracharse sino para que la gente la deguste, pues nuestro objetivo es desarrollar la cultura cervecera en Tunja y Boyacá. Queremos brindarle a la gente diferentes alternativas del producto, el cual va a ser comercializado en puntos específicos", señaló Eduardo Martínez, gerente del Grupo Brumar.
Bruder es el nombre de la cerveza que estos dos ex alumnos del colegio Inem de Tunja producen en una pequeña planta ubicada en la capital boyacense, dotada con la más alta tecnología y en cuyo montaje han invertido cerca de 100 millones de pesos.
"Queremos manejar unos estándares de calidad muy altos, por eso utilizamos insumos importados, situación que hace que nuestra cerveza sea un poco más costosa que la tradicional. La malta, por ejemplo, la traemos de Chile, mientras que la levadura de Francia y el lúpulo de Estados Unidos", comentó Martínez.
En la fábrica se producen tres variedades de cerveza: una rubia tipo americana, una morena un poco más fuerte y una negra que se elabora con una malta especial tostada.
"Gracias a la Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico de Boyacá contamos con el registro Invima. Además tenemos los permisos y registros que nos exige la Cámara de Comercio y la Dian para poder fabricar y vender esta bebida", señaló el joven.
Al mejor estilo del 'Bogotá Beer Company' o 'Tres Cordilleras', en Tunja, al frente del Hotel Hunza, quedará ubicado el primer punto donde será expendida la cerveza artesanal Bruder.
La inauguración se llevará a cabo la primera semana de febrero del 2010. "La idea es ofrecer cerveza de temporadas, por ejemplo, de Halloween o Navidad, ya que esto es un arte y uno puede jugar infinitamente con variedad de fórmulas, sin perder la naturalidad, pues en nuestros productos no utilizamos ni preservativos ni estabilizantes", indicó Martínez.
Cada cerveza contiene 4,5 grados de alcohol y tendrá un costo aproximado de 3.000 pesos.
